cyanotype grid 2 in progress (pinned to the wall for now), printed on found paper w/ gesso and acrylic paint. Still playing with the layout, but relief (woodcut) will be printed over the top. I have 100’s of these left over, so a huge artist book might be in order.

275K Lose Power In Historic October Storm in New Hampshire

It seems it started snowing hard back home and never let up. Both my family and Amys power went out yesterday due to the heavy, wet, snow.

"A historic October snow storm rolled into New Hampshire on Halloween weekend, bringing more than a foot of snow to parts of the state.

Snow started falling in southern New Hampshire at about 3 p.m. Saturday, and utility companies were reporting about 275,000 outages by 8 a.m. Sunday.” - wmur.com

I can’t believe my eyes, it’s raining in Lubbock!

I don’t believe in pessimism. If something doesn’t come up the way you want, forge ahead. If you think it’s going to rain, it will.

8,000 ft  Duststorm that ripped across Lubbock, TX yesterday (not my video but shows how the sky went dark with dust). You could see the wall of dust before you felt it.  When the sand did roll in, it was in your shirt, shoes, eyes etc .. .the sky went from dark red to pitch black.

Flood Watch back home

News report back home

A FLOOD WATCH has been issued in several areas throughout the state of New Hampshire.

The National Weather Service said thunderstorms are expected to bring heavy rain and could result in the flooding of rivers and streams.

What are these so called rivers, streams and heavy rains . .. oh yeah, it’s all coming back to me. Mean while in west Texas… .. nothing.

To leave the tower stacked, A book (hung horizontal with the pages falling downward) or a really long accordion book? I think I will leave it be for a while, move on and come back to it later.
